Iyengar
Yoga concentrates on postural alignment and body awareness.
Students will often say they walk away from an Iyengar Yoga class
straighter and full of energy in spite of having worked quite hard.
Hatha
Yoga focuses on physical forms, breathing and meditation.
It is slower and more spiritually intense than other forms of yoga,
concentrating on physical and mental balance and control.
Pilates
is a form of strength and flexibility training that can be done
by someone at any level of fitness. Pilates is also helpful in preventing
and rehabilitating from injuries, improving posture and increasing
flexibility, circulation, and balance
Tai
Chi is an ancient Chinese system of slowly flowing movements
and shifts of balance that strengthens the legs while conditioning
the tendons and ligaments of the ankles, knees, and hips, increasing
their range of motion and making them more resilient, less prone
to injury. Gentle,
flowing exercise to suit all ages
Relaxation
Classes are aimed at people who find it difficult to relax
or want to improve their relaxation techniques using a combination
of stretches, breathing techniques, guided meditation & meditation
tools/aids
