Angela

Angela is the founder of The Therapy Centre and although trained
in a range of massage techniques, specialises in Remedial
Massage to treat musculo-skeletal conditions. She has a particular
interest in 'posture' and provides workshops to business and
organisations to promote good posture. She also specialises
in stress and migraine management and aims always to promote
a healthy work/life balance with clients. Angela also holds
a Certificate in Life Coaching. Angela has featured on both
national and local television over the last year, appearing
on both GMTV and Tyne Tees Television.

Sharkey BA(Biology), Member of B.C.A.,

Vincent
graduated from the State University of New Jersey with a degree
in Biology. In 1987 he took his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic.
In 1993 after meeting his wife he relocated to the North East
of England. He linked up with The Therapy Centre in 2006 where
he feels that with the other practicing therapists he can
offer a more diverse serv ice. Special interests are biomechanics
of spine, postural awareness and relationship of Nervous System
to overall health

Marie
originally trained as a Registered General Nurse but always
knew she would become a Homeopath afetr receiving Homeopathic

Porteous UKRAH
Advanced hypnotherapist and Thought Field Therapist, Robert
Porteous is a specialist in helping people overcome their
fears, phobias, addictions and confidence problems. Robert
was trained in the Austin Technique of Advanced Hypnotherapy
by its originator, Valerie Austin, author of 5 books on hypnotherapy
including 'Self Hypnosis' and 'Free Yourself from Fear'. Robert

Lindsey
Gibson Dip.Phyt, MNIMH
Lindsey gained a Diploma in Medical Herbalism in 2001 from
the College of Phototherapy. Lyndsey has recently become the
Resident Medical Herbalist of the William Turner Herbal Garden
in Morpeth's Carlisle Park. William Turner is the person regarded
by many as the original pioneer of Medical Herbalism and was
born and bred in Morpeth.

Judith
Vigurs
Judith
studied modern languages at Cambridge University. She lived
in Amsterdam from 1977 until 2003 before coming to live in
Newcastle. Judith still goes to Holland regularly to
see her daughter and to work there. Traditionally the technique
is taught one-to-one but she has also developed a style of
small group sessions in an informal atmosphere. Judith's special
interests are reducing stress, promoting confidence and ease
of freedom of movement. Judith had tree years full time training
before setting up practice in Amsterdam and does regular post-graduate
work at the CumbriaCentre for Alexander Teaching Training
in kendal

Susan is a registered member of The British Chiropody and
Podiatry Association. She graduated with a diploma from The
Open College of Chiropody and Podiatry (The SMA Institute)
in 2000 and also holds a certificate in Clinical Medical Emergency
